Imperio is a bay, 16.2 hand, 2003 German Trakehner Stallion by Connery Out of Isar (Balfour)

Imperio is approved for breeding in the Trakehner, Oldenburg, Hanoverian and Bavarian studbooks.

At the 2005 approval, in Neumunster, Germany, Imperio was the Reserve Champion Stallion.

In 2008, at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, Imperio was Reserve Champion in the 5 year-old division.

Again in 2008, Imperio was the Bundeschampion, in the 5 year-old division at the 2008 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany. He won the competition with an overall scoreof 9.10! He received a 10 for his trot, 9's for canter and submission, 8 for walk and 9.5 for general impression. Clearly these scores are proof of the quality and suppleness of his gaits, smooth rideability and willingness to work.
