Major Bonanza the legendary sire of World Champions died in 1997. Prior to his death we froze a limited number of semen straws. We have decided to offer 3 straws for sale. With professional assistance this should be enough to get one mare in foal. The semen was tested following freezing and found to be excellent. There is no live foal guarantee and only one foal may be registered from the 3 straws. The semen can be shipped anywhere in the US or Canada. Major is DNA typed and is recorded with AQHA. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to bring back genetics that produced World Champions many times over. Major has been featured in many national publications including Western Horseman, Performance Horse, Quarter Horse Journal and many more. Never again will these genes be available to the Quarter Horse breeder. Major's credentials with NRCHA, NCHA, NRHA and AQHA are far too numerous to list here. Major is the ultimate outcross for todays performance breeder. He was the first performance sire to put looks and confirmation into the performance events. We will nominate Major Bonanza for the breeding year selected by the buyer. The actual birthday of Major Bonanza is Feb. 1972.
Our breeding fee is $10,000.00. The booking fee is $5000.00 and the balance is payable with a live foal only. The booking fee is non refundable. WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING BOOKINGS FOR 2009, BUT WILL TAKE BOOKINGS FOR 2010. Thanks to everyone for all the interest.
