Born and raised in County Tipperary, "Curraheen" acquired over 104 pts. under Show Jumping Association of Ireland (SJAI) rules. He was a winner at competitions in the Royal Dublin Society horse show, and the Millstreet International in County Cork, Ireland.
Kildalton Gold, Curraheen's sire, was a two time Royal Dublin Society champion stallion. Curraheen was imported in 2004 to the states.
While his career was short lived due to a career ending injury, he has many double clear rounds and ribbons in all classes he entered. He is now producing very nice quality foals, with size, substinance, and his massive jumping ability. They are all very trainable and well minded, which make for the ingredients of future champions.
