Commando ES is a 2007 ISR Oldenberg Approved American Hanoverian stallion bred in the U.S.A. by Equi Sport, LLC. This young stallion is a combination of modern and traditional sport horse breeding who is being carefully developed for the sport of show jumping.
Commando ES is a beautiful product of his outstanding pedigree. His sire Comic, bred and tested for dressage, performed with strong results during his 100-Day test with a total score of 123.14. As a 5 year old, Comic finished 6th in the 2002 FEI World Championships for Young Horses in Verden as well as placing 5th at the Bundeschampionat. Guided by rider Carola Koppelmann, Comic stormed into the FEI dressage arena by winning all their classes at the Hickstead CDI, were winner at the Nuremberger BurgPokal Finals and qualified for the HKM Cup. As shown in his pedigree, Comic boasts some of the most famous and influential jumper stallions in history. There is Cantus, Caletto I and Landgraf I who have given him the genetics to be a successful progenitor for both Dressage and Jumping horses.
Commando ES’s Dam, F-Laureen 016 was a highly successful sport mare who garnered numerous wins in the jumping arena. Approved by AHHA and AHA, F-Laureen has produced three Premium foals in her breeding career and now has an approved son! Her pedigree is stacked with powerhouse show jumpers like, Liostro, Ladykiller and Rocadero. Her sire, Liostro, was the last approved son of the famous Ladykiller. Liostro produced over 100 successful sport horses including Grand Prix and Olympic performers, and in 2002 became the leading producer of money winners in North America. Liostro leaves behind a tremendous legacy which includes 6 approved sons, over 50 Main Mare Book mares, and several States Premium mares. Mostly recently, his son Liocaylon sired the 6th place finisher of the 2011 World Cup Finals, Dunstan Delphi, as well as several other top jumping horses.
