The primary programs we offer are for at-risk youth, women recovering from breast cancer, domestic abuse, addictions or traumatic life events, and for Veterans and their families. These programs are:
-The Willis Ashley Foley Jr. Warriors and Warhorses program for Veterans
-The HOPE on Horseback program for women
-The Excelsior Thoroughbred Advancement Program for at-risk Thoroughbred race horses.
These services are offered at no cost to the family. Our program is based on the Heart Work With Horses(sm) philosophy, a holistic Equine Facilitated Learning philosophy that combines horsemanship, riding, education and wellness for both human and horse.
Our clients will be working with the Thoroughbreds we are transitioning from Finger Lakes Race Track through the Excelsior Thoroughbred Advancement program, as well as horses that come to us as rescues, or those that have been previously rescued, rehabilitated or retrained for service work.
