The former home of Turning Point Warmbloods is now the home of Hughes Sporthorses! Classically trained Dressage trainer with a deep background and basics rooted in Natural horsemanship techniques. All horses approached gently and thoughtfully, going at the horse's pace in order to get the best out of them. Trainer also has a background in Hunters, and can accommodate horses geared or needed started in this direction.
She has worked with some of the best in the business, most recently returning from Florida where she worked for a superior Trakehner breeding and training farm.
Regardless of whether you're looking to move your horse up the levels, get him or her started correctly, or fixing an issue that has arisen in your riding, we can help!

Turnout is of the utmost importance in horse health and well-being. From equine athletes to pleasure horses, all horses need good turnout!
We have huge turnout paddocks for stall-boarded horses with shade, shelter, grass, and the safest horse fencing on the market.
Pasture boarded horses have a massive pasture with hills and flat areas to keep them in shape, a huge shelter to share, and again the safest horse fencing available.
Many options available for full-care and partial care boarding options with both stall kept and pasture kept horses. Staff can oversee as little or as much of your horse's care as you decide!
Full-care stall board $400/month
Partial-care pasture board $150/month
Full-care pasture board (daily feeding) $250/month
Training fees start at $750/month and includes full-care board.
Trainer plans to start a full lesson program and work with local Pony Club and 4-H groups as well as being involved with regional competitions. Our goal is to have a friendly environment for all to learn and succeed regardless of their goals. The opportunity to participate in shows (on-farm and off), clinics, lessons, weekly camps, social days, trail rides, fun-days, etc., is certainly going to be available but not expected.
If you're looking to get involved in a barn with a wonderful facility with fantastic horses without the unwanted prejudice and drama of normal elite facilities, this is your barn!
