Equinity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) and equine-assisted learning (EAL) programs to members of our community, specifically underprivileged and at-risk youth.
We are currently taking new clients for our growth & development program which develops qualities such as confidence, assertiveness, patience, and effective communication through learning how to effectively train a horse.
Program fees are very low so as to not exclude those who may not be financially able to participate. In these cases, only a small, tax-deductible donation to Equinity will be requested.
Program participants are also asked to do some sort of barn chore as part of their program to learn responsibility and experience the connection the builds while caring for another living creature.
