Boarding Rate of $500 - Stalls available
The newly constructed Avalon Farm equestrian center accommodates 18 horses which are hosted in spacious 12 x 12 custom built stalls. Each stall features individually controlled overhead fans, lights and outlets. In addition, the stalls feature the new innovative stall saver mats designed to promote overall relief and hoof health. The barn is constructed with horse health, safety and comfort in mind, with large windows, open high ceilings, and extra wide aisle-ways to maximize air flow and well-being.
The custom-built stalls, office area, and all common areas are well lit and feature beautiful tongue & groove poplar for a distinctive look. The spacious, secure tack room is lined in tongue & groove pine with individual, custom-built 2x2x4 tack lockers for each horse. The tack room is climate controlled along with overhead fans to improve air circulation to protect the saddles and other tack.
Amenities include climate controlled laundry, restroom and lounge areas. A refrigerator and microwave is available for barn as well as client use.
The barn boasts two 10 x 12 indoor grooming stalls and a spacious 12 x 12 indoor wash stall with both cold and hot water. There are also outside wash rack areas for those extra-busy times.
The riding arena is a huge 220' by 110' area with river sand / M-10 mix. The arena is nestled in a beautiful wooded setting, overlooked by the barn and an observation deck for events and client viewing. The entire barn area is elevated above the arena to enhance viewing of events and activities in the arena.
The facility currently has 6 paddocks and larger turnout areas with plans for additions in the near future. The 8 acre facility adjoins 30 acres of pasture and wooded areas for trail riding and quiet walks. This adjoining area also provides a nice backdrop adding to the overall country experience.
Facilities are also a short trip to the North Georgia Premium Outlets, inputs to Lake Lanier and several of N. GA's Premiere Golf Courses Achasta and Chestatee...
