The Ashtabula County Humane Society is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit animal welfare agency that receives our all our support from donations and fundraisers from our local communities. We receive no financial support from local or state governments.
We perform humane investigation to protect the animals suffering from abuse and neglect, as well as being the best source for adoptable pets in all of Northeastern Ohio. We provide low-cost spay/neuter services for responsible pet owners of our county.
We perform these services with a volunteer staff and depend on our community to help us protect the animals of Northeastern Ohio.
Currently there is only a handful of volunteers trying to keep up with the enormous needs of the animals in this county. Please, if you could spare a couple hours a month please contact us at . Leave your name and number and we will get back to you. We need help with fundraising ideas, public awareness, animal care and educating the general public about the importance of spaying and neutering all pets.
Please be aware that the ACHS does have a facility but does not have administrative staff. The above phone number is for our designated messaging service, and is not manned by live volunteers. You must leave a message with your name and number and we will do our best to get back with you in less than 48 hours. If possible, please submit your question/request via email, as this is often a faster and easier way to get in contact with us. Thank you!
