Your horse will be in good hands with us! Our facility is designed for the rider, with a riding arena, a riding "track" around the pastures, turnout for your horse, experienced management, a lounge areas, a tack room, and more. We plan to have no more than 6 horses so we can give you and your horse the best care possible.
We are a small, 6 stall barn located just 10 minutes south of the Harding Exit on I-465. The barn is just east of State Road 37 South, near Angel Animal Hospital, and just south of the Marion County/Johnson County line (in Johnson County). We are not releasing the address publicly for safety, but site visits are available by request.
We are currently offering stalls at $250.00 per month, which includes daily turnout (weather permitting), daily stall cleaning, feeding 2x daily, riding facilities (an arena and other riding areas), and more! We may provide feed for your horse at an additional cost, or we can feed what you provide to us. We have a separate, locked feed room to prevent any horses from getting into trouble, and have plenty of storage for your horses feed and supplements, if needed.
It is already a nice barn, but we are a work in progress with several planned improvements, so rates will go up - so join us now to get the best rates! Some of the improvements include changing the arena footing from turf to sand, providing lockers for the boarders, a wash rack, and more! We will be using feedback from our boarders to help us make the improvements, so we are purposefully waiting for you to tell us what you want!
Sawdust will be used as bedding for all stalls, and sawdust is stored inside the barn. The average stall size is 11 foot by 11 foot. Horses will be manually turned out every morning (weather permitting), and brought in every night. We are not offering pasture boarding at this time.
Management is experienced, with a Bachelor's Degree in Equine Science and also a licensed attorney. Co-op deals may be available to reduce the cost of your board. Let us know what you need to see if we are a good fit for you and your horse!
