Our mission is to provide a happy, healthy and nurturing environment for unwanted, abused, abandoned, retired and neglected horses.
We are 100% volunteer and dedicated to placing these horses in loving, compassionate and permanent homes, enhancing the life of the horse as well as the new owners.
1.HAPI is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization established June of 2009
2.HAPI is 100% Volunteer, ALL proceeds directly benefit the horses.
3.HAPI has helped 26 horses within our program
4.HAPI has placed 20 of those horses in new homes
5.HAPI has cared for and rehabilitated 3 severely neglected horses
6.HAPI has helped 7 horses/owners not involved in our program
7.HAPI has raised over $30,000.00 to date
8.HAPI has received over $10,000 in In-Kind donations in the past 2.5 years
9.HAPI has received Grants from The Idaho Horse Board, The William Weiss Foundation, & Ms. Sophie Echeverria through the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole
10.HAPI has 150+ Members & 35+ dedicated volunteers
11.HAPI has worked closely with local Law Enforcement, STOP, 1 of 3, Circle S Mobile Vet, Victor Valley Vet, Driggs Vet, Fish Creek Vet, our community, other local and regional animal shelters to help horses in need.
12.HAPI has participated in events with the Teton County Rodeo Company, Girl Scouts of Wyoming & Montana, Teton Valley Arena, Targhee Animal Shelter, Animal Adoption Center of Jackson Hole, Teton County Fair-Wyoming, Teton Valley Foundation/Ski Jouring, & the Town of Victor’s 4th of July Parade
13.HAPI participates/produces in 3 major fund raising event each year : HAPI Trails Competitive Trail Challenge/ACTHA sponsored in July, Teton Valley Community Foundations Tin Cup Challenge in July, HAPI Hours in December and now Skijoring in January.
