Sung Nagi Kici Okiju: Becoming one with the Spirit of the Horse is not a horsemanship model, it's a way of life.
Jon Eagle Sr., is Hunkpapa Lakota and grew up on a ranch in north-central South Dakota during a time when horses were vital to a ranches operations. He has spent a lifetime learning to develop relationships with horses and people. Jon is certified to provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) by the Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association (EAGALA) and Greg Kersten's Ok Corral Series, Mile Post Red, OK in Crisis. Mr Kersten is the founder of EAP/EAL.
Becoming one with the Spirit of the Horse is a unique experience that utilizes the wisdom of the Lakota/Dakota people and the spirit of the horse to create movement in peoples lives. Because we are human beings, we can get stuck. Stuck in denial, anger, sadness or negotiation. Horses have the most amazing abilities to help us find acceptance. They have taught me that how you approach a person, a horse or any given situation in life will either create resistance, or create movement. The only way to create movement is to develop a relationship first.
We provide one and two day Equine Assisted Wellness and Leadership Seminars. This is a great experience for individuals, families, professionals, groups and organizations.
