***Update 1/1 - Cheyenne has developed a crack in his left hind hoof, so I'm cutting his price in half. I paid $1500 for this horse and then put $1000 of training into him, so I still feel he's worth twice or more of this new price. I have never had any problems with his feet in the past; my farrier seems to think he hit it on something as opposed to it just splitting. I would really like to sell him ASAP, so please make me an offer!
****Update 1/23 - Farrier has been out to see him; turns out the crack I thought was a crack was really just a split that wasn't very deep. He likely stepped on himself or caught it on something. The farrier filed it, so now there is only a visible bruise where the crack was. He cleared him to be ridden light/regular; no heavy riding until it is grown out. He will not need any corrective shoeing, just regular trims. I am leaving his price, because I need to sell him.

Cheyenne is a 11 year old, 15.1 hand Sabino Quarter Horse / Arabian cross all around riding horse. He has been professionally trained in western pleasure and ridden English / dressage. He has a pretty trot that he shows off well in the latter. He loves trail rides. But he is the kind of horse that could probably do almost anything you pointed him at, so if your interests lie elsewhere, he could mold to that. He has some speed and a nice turn, so barrel racing or pole bending might suit him as well.

On the ground, he is about as good as they come. He has a great disposition, is very laid back (but not lazy), and will tolerate just about anything. He stands tied quietly as long as you leave him, as well as for baths and the farrier. He does not bite or kick, and isn't pushy. He lunges on a line or in a round pen. He does well stalled or on pasture and gets along with other horses.

He does need an experienced rider, as he does tend to test them a little at first. Also, he has only been ridden sparsely for the last couple years, so he may need some fine tuning, but I don't think it will take much.

The reason I am selling is I have gotten away from riding, and put too much into this horse for him to waste away in a pasture.

Cheyenne is UTD on vaccinations, worming, teeth floating, his feet have been trimmed, his last coggins was negative, he is healthy and sound.

Serious (and knowledgeable!) inquiries only, please. I would really like to sell him before the first of the year, so I will consider offers. Feel free to email me (imamgfan@yahoo.com) if there's something else you want to know about this great guy. Thanks for looking.
