Viper was started late but has become a very nice ridding horse. He was trail rode for about a year and a half before we started running barrels on him. He's at the most had 45 days training for barrels and he can turn and burn! We just haven't pushed him for his max. He loves to run! He has done every contest class you can think of and does them well. He's still working on the weaving for poles. Stake bend he doesn't do to bad (11seconds). If he was worked with consistantly he'd make a wonderful horse, possibly a 1D barrel horse. We just haven't had the time to dedicate to him as we'd like to. He walks in and out of the arena. He's not ring sour or in a hurry to run in. We always walk him in turn him and then run. He does have a lot of power and I'd say adult/advanced riders only for him. He's not mean or aggressive, he just has a lot of power. He's great with dogs, quads, tractors, bath, clippers, hauling, vet, trimming, etc. He stands for all that. He is utd on all his vacc & trimmings.
Viper is a great horse you dont want to miss out on.
