Mister stands 16.1 hh and is the sweetest boy in our barn. His ground manners are impeccable, he has never offered to bite or kick his handlers, but he needs an experienced rider, as he tends to get nervous (claustrophobic?) on the trails at times and starts jigging. He has never bucked under saddle and has been safe on numerous trail rides, including Shawnee Forest. He cannot be stalled, as he gets nervous there as well and will weave if he gets too anxious. If kept outdoors, the only time he will weave is at mealtime, and he quits once his dinner is served. Mister is also a cribber, but this is 100% controlled with a collar, and the collar would go with him. Strangely enough, although he seems to have some issues with claustrophobia, he has never refused to load, and stands quietly in the trailer. Mister had a minor leg injury before he came into my life, and this left him with a pulled hamstring. He is somewhat short-strided on one side in the rear; hence, he is not an arena horse and has not been trained for longe line or flat work. This has never caused lameness, and he would be sold as sound. He is current on all shots, as well as teeth and farrier. He bathes, and does not need sedation for sheath cleaning. He is being sold due to lack of time, not because of his issues; however, his price reflects the fact that he is not 'perfect'. He will be sold to an approved home only, and only to someone who understands that not all horses are cut out of the same mold.
