This is a 10 year old gelding that is a quiet, sane, and safe trail horse. Jay will ride for anyone. He was purchased as a beginner horse for my husband. Jay is easy going, quiet, sure footed and has been rode extensively at Beaver Creek State Park. He is super easy to get along with and you can put him with any other horse(s). Jay has also been used to assist with trail riding and breaking green horses. He stands tied patiently, has a great personality, and has good manners. Jay loads and hauls very well. Do not let his 14.3 size fool you, he can haul anyone any size around without tiring easily. He is a registered Appendix Quarter Horse, but he is built like a true quarter horse. Jay rides with saddle bags, neck reins, and leg cues. He will cross water (including belly deep water) and go through mud and brush to cut the trail. He is good for the farrier, vet, etc. Jay is utd on vet, farrier and teeth. He rides in a little s hackamore. Jay will go out alone or with a group (lead, follow, in middle). Jay has also been to a trail obstacle course and he is traffic safe. Great beginner, husband or anyone horse. Do not let the beginner fool you, he can cowboy when you want him to without getting hot.
