Bella is a flashy 1998 Oldenburg/Selle Francias mare who would make someone a lovely dressage partner. She spent about 9 months in very light dressage training (inconsistent due to time and weather) and is now in a full 4-5 day a week program and is really enjoying her job. She is a big, powerful mover with a fantastic mind to go along with her physical ability and athleticism. She attended her first dressage show 6/21 and scored in the 60's in Training Level and is steadily moving up the levels. Additionally, she recieved oustanding comments from the judge. As of August 2009 she is schooling Second Level movements and also has solid changes. Bella is a barn favorite as she has a lot of heart and a very kind demeanor. She has outstanding ground manners, loads, cross-ties, clips, bathes, stands for the farrier and vet, and thoroughly enjoys being groomed and loved on. She is the same horse on or off the farm and travels well alone or in company. She has traveled to parks to hack out (does water, fields, woods, bridges, small cross country jumps, etc.), gone to a foxhunt clinic, many horse shows, as well as a hunter pace. A good home is an absolute must as we care very much about Bella and are only selling her due to lack of time...she is too nice to go to waste! 100% sound. Serious inquiries only.
