Glenwood's Prinz
Prinz is an exceptionally talented serious amateur or professional's mount. As a 4 year old, with a professional rider, Prinz scored 77% and 73% at his first recognized Training Level show. He continued to recieve high point at almost every recognized show he was entered into in the Southern California area against many imported horses. In 2006, prinz was the Dressage Association of Southern California (DASC) Training Level Horse of the Year with an average score of about 73%. He also placed 5th in the USDF region 7 training level championships. He has recieved 8's on his gaits and numerous compliments from many recognized judges that he would make "a solid FEI horse". At age 5 I took Prinz to try Hunters. We recieved high point at our first hunter show. Many hunter trainers have commented that he would make an exceptionally fancy hunter as he jumps very "cute" and has the movement to win A circuit hacks. His temperament
would be very suitable for a young rider wishing to do hunters as he is very quiet and easy to pack around. Over the last 7 months we have been back in serious dressage training. He has been scoring in the 68-70% range at CDI shows with international judges under an amateur rider. He is ready to show first level and is working on haunches in, shoulder in, pirouettes, and counter canter. He has changes but they need more developement for dressage. For dressage, he would be most suited for a very serious amateur or a professional as he takes a very correct rider to be ridden to his full potential. He would be a great amateur or professional's mount for hunters, regardless of experience due to his quiet nature and solid flatwork. Sound, clips, ties, bathes, and walks himself into the trailer. He is a gorgeous dream of a horse and this is a firesale as I am just out of college and can absolutely no longer afford him. If the economy were better I would be asking much more. I have had him since he was 6 months old and it saddens me to do this. Please inquire only if you are serious. A video is available upon request, or you can come try him if you are in the area!
