Large and tall grey thoroughbred. He has been off the track for 4 years (just found that out from previous owner). Wonderful personality-comes up to you in the pasture, very inquisitive. wtc, shows great talent over fences. Big jump with lots of scope. He has jumped 2'6"- Learns quickly and gets bored without challenges. He has been ridden out in the open and in the woods and does great. Great around other horses and animals (including alpacas, dogs, chickens, turkies, donkies). Behaves well in new places and has been trailered every week for lessons. He ties, bathes, cross ties and has no problems with the farrier etc.. I bought him as a project horse and he has been amazing to work with. All offers are seriously considered.
UPDATE 8/22/09
He has jumped 3'3" with a rider. The height did not phase him at all. He poured over the vertical and did not bat an eye at the oxer. He is becoming much more balanced and consistent in his flatwork. I just found out from his previous owner that he was only at the track for about 3 months.
I am going back to school this fall (out of state) and will be unable to ride him consistently until next spring, so we decided to drop his price . My trainer knows him well and will be happy to show him to anyone that is interested. His price will definitely jump back up next spring when he is back in training on a regular program. Please email with any questions!
update sept 30
Price Reduced Again!
He is in Kentucky at school with me. I have been riding him bareback for the past couple weeks and he is showing great improvement. WTC are really coming along. He is really an incredible horse with a lot of sense. NOT A BEGINNERS HORSE THOUGH!!
May trade for a young, athletic, appendix quarter horse gelding
