Lucy is our classic grullo champagne tovero paint stallion Luke's first foal, born 5/22/09 out of our favorite riding mare, and we couldn't be more pleased! This filly has performance breeding, athletic ability, rare color and beautiful markings to captivate all who lay eyes on her. She is built correct with great muscling, strong legs, nice shoulder, great hindquarters and a short back. She has a wonderful canter, and is already showing her athleticism at play in pasture with her stops, turns, lead changes and cowy movement. She is magnificent to watch, with her strong presence, curiosity and fun loving personality. She may be the most uniquely colored reining/cowhorse propsect for sale in all of Europe! And of course when she's done with her show career, she can produce exceptional colorful foals for you also.
Lucy will be double registered with APHA and ICHR. Both parents are tested HERDA N/N, and Lucy has been tested positive for the champagne dilution (N/Ch) and also for frame overo (LWO N/O). This combined with her obvious dun factor and tobiano pattern makes for her extremely rare Amber Dun Champagne Tovero coloring.
