"Elmo" is a 16 y.o. 14.2 HH Bay Arabian X Welsh Pony gelding. He has lots of show experience and is a fun jumper. He does 2'6" courses with ease but has the ability to go higher. "Elmo" has done Pony Club, High School Equestrian Team, Michigan Hunter/Jumper "Pony" Circuit, and many open shows. He has been shown in hunter, jumper, and flat classes, and has also done mounted games, however he has not been shown in four years. "Elmo" requires an experienced rider that will ride him often. He is too forward for rail classes, but would excel in dressage or jumping. Ideally he would be good for an experienced rider who had a trainer to tune him up for competition again. He clips, loads, bathes and stands for the vet/farrier very well. He is an easy keeper and has great feet that do not need shoes. “Elmo” is for sale because his owner is off to college and he is too nice to be standing around!
