*Price Reduced* Would really like to move this gelding before winter sets in, all resonable offers considered!
Artie has the personality people look for and will always keep you laughing. He is incredibly curious, LOVES people, gets into everything,is always the first one to come up to you in the pasture and will follow you like a puppy the entire time you're out there. He is very smart and the hardest part about training him is keeping the lessons interesting for him.
This is a very talented gelding that could go in many different directions, probably the one he is most suited to is HUS, which is what he is bred to do. He is very flat up front and has a gorgeous trot and a slow, pretty, correct canter.
When I originally bought him I wanted to compete with him in 3 day eventing. At his first and only competition I took him to a dressage schooling show and won our first class and was second in our second class, bringing home high point horse/rider team for the day. He scored a 69.5 in one class and a 69.7 in his other. He has been jumped up to 2'6" but would need some reschooling in that regard as he hasn't been jumped in over a year. He can be slightly stiff through his hocks when it is very cold out, but is fine once warmed up. He is now in the process of being reschooled for breed show HUS and is progressing very well.
His sire is the great Artful Investment ( a sire who has won more World Championships than any other sire in AQHA history and has produced World and Congress champions as well) and his dam is by In The Big Leage by Barpasser.
Artie is great for the vet, farrier, dewormer, clipping, bathing, tieing, trailering, and anything else you can think of. He is also utd on his coggins, shots, farrier, and dental work.
Artie is truly an amazing animal and if I wasn't trying to pay my way through college he would have a home for life with me. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to arrange to come out and see him in person.
