AD#: 3415785
Seller: HollieWads
7 Year old 15.2hh bay roan with full body spots. I do have the name of her breeder and her potentially registered (have not yet confirmed if she is already registered) name. She definitely meets all of the qualifications for the registry either way.

I got Zoey as a project in January of this year, she was completely untrained aside from knowing how to walk on a lead line. I have since worked on ground manners as well as saddle breaking. As of now she has had roughly 15 rides and is working on neck and leg reining. She is a very stable and sane horse on the ground, and in the saddle she is comfortable at the walk and trot. She has not cantered while being ridden yet, because when she is lunged while tacked up she will occasionally buck, and I don't want to push her too fast while being ridden and ruin a good thing. Zoey is very smart and can pick up on new things very quickly, which makes me think she has a lot of potential. She has only worked under a western saddle with a mild snaffle bit so far, and as to her abilities I believe she would excel in any western discipline with the right training. She is very fast and agile and under saddle she has a great stop.

I have decided to sell for a few reasons, but mainly because she is at the point where she needs worked almost on a daily basis and I just do not have that time. I have a chance to ride maybe twice a week at best, which isn't going to get her to where she needs to be. Lately she has been giving me the "I don't want to work for you anymore" attitude, and the way my pasture is set up, if she doesn't want to be caught, there is no way I am going to catch her without spending multiple hours chasing her around, and by the time I finally catch her, I don't even want to work with her. She needs to be in a place that has smaller areas with much more structure than just an open field. However, once she is caught she acts like a little angel and will follow you around and do anything you ask. She also stands like a statue to be mounted and will barely move when the farrier is trimming her hooves.

I think Zoey has the potential to become a great little western horse, and with proper training possibly even a good step-up horse for a youth rider. I am listing her as a project horse because she definitely needs more training, more than what I can give right now, in a place where she can easily be caught and messed with on a daily basis. There is much more I can say about her, so please feel free to ask questions and I will be more than happy to answer!

I would like to get close to what I am asking from her which is $1000, however I will consider all reasonable offers! I just want to find her a place to go! please email or text for pictures and more information!
