Escapade was imported to the United States from the renowned Ludwig Decker farm in Germany. The famous Hanoverian sire Grannus was born on the very same farm. Escapade’s power, grace and sincere temperament passes on to his offspring.
Escudo I was the 2009 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year and Champion of the 1994 Stallion Performance test out of 35 stallions. He went on to become the Hanoverian Showjumping Champion 5 year old in 1996, and German National Reserve Champion 5 year old Jumper. Escudo I is outstanding in type and expression he also excellent gaits which he passes on to his offspring.
Espri was the 1995 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year and is one of Germany's best sires for both dressage and jumping horses. His offspring excel as outstanding jumping horses of enormous ability and energetic movements. Espri is a very correct stallion with a good topline and an excellent disposition.
Eiger was the 1999 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. Eiger produced 35 State`s premium mares and seven licensed stallions, among them Espri. He passes on his type, his correct conformation and his very good rideability to his offspring. Very often they are talented for both jumping and dressage, Eiger’s sire Eisenherz was one of the most sought after sires for dressage horses.
Graf Grannus earned the coveted title of Hanoverian Stallion of the year in 2004. He has sired over 362 broodmares, 48 of which have been awarded the State Premium title. He has 20 licensed stallion sons, of which Ginsberg, Goodman and Graf Top are the best known. The Hanoverian G-line is always a guarantee for performance ability, especially for outstanding jumping power. His offspring stand out for excellent jumping technique and jumping scope. Graf Grannus’s sire Grannus is one of the most important and prolific jumping sires of our time. Also of note Grannus has sired 60 approved sons and his dam is of Trakhner descent and carries with her the blood of Gotthard,
Samber is the World-wide Legend and undisputed King of the Coloureds. He is the greatest far reaching and most influential of all Pinto warmblood sires. In 1979 Samber passed his 100 day performance test, with a 10 for character and temperament, he gained an overall 160.2 points and an A Certificate. Samber proved himself in competition in the early to mid eighties and reached Grand Prix in Dressage and Z Level (BSJA Grade A) in Showjumping. Samber’s had a huge influence as an International performance sire. Not just the stallion descendants of Samber, but also the mares and the geldings are proving themselves in all the Olympic disciplines. West Star, the International 4 Star mount of Nina Melkonian is his best representative to date in so far as eventing is concerned, whilst Art Deco has reached Grand Prix Dressage in the USA for Liz Hall and Silverwood Farm. Dim Bam Bino, born 1988, by Branco Ox, out of Ange by Samber, represents Greece in International Dressage, United Colours ’91 by Samber out of a Rigoletto/Rames mare won in Showjumping, whilst Pintofields Iedante I, a KWPN Keur mare has won over 150 Dressage points in Great Britain. The above is just a few of the better known “Sambers” and there are; many others competing at all levels throughout Europe and the USA. Samber’s dam Tina D, the black tobiano Preferent mare by Ordonnans, a son of Ornament, is also a legend in her own right. In 1983, at the age of 19 she paraded at the UTV National Mare Show with some of her offspring including Samber. At that time she had brought 16 foals into the world, several of which are tobianos. Samber’s sire Pericles was born in 1962. British bred from the West Grinstead Stud, he stood for one year in 1968 under the H.I.S. scheme, and prior to this ran 14 times, won two races and was placed in three. In 1976 he attained Keur status and in 1977, Preferent and died in 1987.
