AD#: 3250081

Park's City, otherwise known as Aspen, is a 18 hh Grey Warmblood Gelding. A little background on Aspen. . . He started his training with a generous amount of professional dressage training and then switched into the jumper rings. During Aspen's jumping career he competed in the low and high Adult Jumpers up to 1.15m. Aspen claimed Champion at H.I.T.S in both Saugerties and Ocala and has placed in many Jumper Classics over his career. More recently, Aspen has been in training to venture into the equine field of Three-Day Eventing. The fundamental dressage training in Aspen's past has started to resurface with the dressage exercises in his training. He is a very large horse, but responds extremely well to leg yields and aids. He becomes a partner to his rider with a consistent amount of riding which allows the rider to truly feel him move beneath them while performing tests. With better knowledge of upper level dressage and some patience, Aspen would be a great dressage partner for an experience dressage rider. Currently Aspen is schooling Novice and Training cross-country jumps including coops, log stacks, walls, ramps, in-and-outs, and tiger traps. He shows an interest approaching the jumps and is willing during schooling. Aspen is EASILY clearing both Novice and Training level cross-country which gives belief that he will easily be able to move into Preliminary and Intermediate Divisions with a strong rider. Aspens stadium jumping speaks for itself with the credentials of his past. He is an extremely strong jumper and smart about his body while jumping. He doesn't particularly likes his rider to get in the way, but with a little encouragement he is willing to set back and listen. Aspen would be an extraordinary partner for a jumper happily jumping 1.0 m to 1.15 m. Aspen is a great horse with the sweetest personality and tons of love to give to his rider. He is a one person type of horse. If a rider bonds with Aspen, he is in their pocket and does all he can to make things happen. With his extensive show history, Aspen doesn't mind trailering, stabling, clipping, bathing, etc. An intermediate rider with trainer, advanced, or professional rider would be the best types of rider for Aspen. Any other questions about Aspen can be sent to or please feel free to call Felicia at anytime. More pictures and videos can be sent with inquiry.
