Serlait (aka "Laylay") is a sound, safe, steady mare that has been there, done that. Will tolerate any youth or adult amateur just starting to learn to finesse their ride and looking to grow competitively with a safe and sound partner. Easy to collect, goes round and soft on the bit. Shown at schooling and recognized shows locally as well as the regional level. She is always in the ribbons. Placed 8th out of 42 riders in AA Training Level at the USDF Region 2 Finals in 2008. Has been under professional training with Julie Julian, and currently with L Judge and trainer Barry Fript. Schooling 2nd level, ready to show as soon as you are. Travers, renvers, leg yield, all the lateral work, and starting lead changes soon, all in a simple snaffle bit. Also trick trained to Spanish Walk and Bow both in-hand and under saddle by Mario Contreras, the head trainer for Medieval Times Schaumburg.
Honest and willing jumper has jumped to 2'6" both stadium and cross country. Goes out on the trails alone or with a group, crosses water with no fuss. Has done parades, 4-H, pony club, and more.
Loads, baths, clips, barefoot, no vices. Does well in a large mixed herd turnout. Ever had a horse whose ears you can clip with just a halter around their neck? You can with this girl. Easy keeper. UTD on worming, vaccinations. Affectionate and loving, enjoys grooming and pampering.
