Leads, loads, ties, stands for bridle path to be clipped, lunges, picks up feet. Has been kept trimmed barefoot his entire life. Rides at a walk, trot, turn, back direct reining. He is ready for a consistent job. Intermediate or experienced rider due to his age and training level. He has several blemishes, including scars to his mouth and tongue and cannot be ridden with a bitted bridle, thus his low price. His extended pedigree can be viewed on allbreedpedigree.com. More pictures are available.
He is gentle, and easy to control with a bitless bridle, or halter. He is extremely sweet, cooperative, willing, strong and is not spooky. I truly love this horse, but I am losing my acreage this May and cannot afford to board all of my horses at a stable-so even though it breaks my heart, some must find good homes.
Vet checks are welcome at buyers expense. I will consider long term lease arrangement. Buyer must have vet and farrier references, and be willing to sign a buyback contract. Please, I bred and raised this horse, and I truly love him so: no traders or kill buyers need respond. I have full time school, full time work as a nurse (off shift hours) and rarely have time available during decent hours to talk on the phone, so emails will be answered much more promptly.
