Breeze loves to be the center of attention, and he often is because everyone notices him. They love his coloring and how he moves. He is one of the cutest pony you'll ever see. Judges always comment on him. This summer he has received a variety of compliments: "whole package," "exquisite," "pretty mover," etc.
-6 year old gelding
-Welsh & Hackney cross
-UTD on shots, teeth, etc.
-Broke to ride and drive. (Professionally trained)
-Shown halter and driving. Numerous 1st places. In fact, he won 1st place overall in all of his classes for 2013 at a local series. He is on track to win those classes again for 2014.
-As of June, he has been shown in riding classes. He has adapted to the busy show schedule very willingly. Within a matter of a few hours, he is standing for a halter class, completing driving classes, and then finishing with a riding class (ridden as a hunter).
-In addition to the arena, he has been ridden everywhere on various types of terrain, even the mts. Loves the water, has been swimming in Lake Erie.
-Finished in his first hunter pace past fall w/ an unfamiliar rider and was paired with another unknown horse/rider.
-Naturally loves to jump. Great prospect for Pony Club.
-Desensitized to water bottles (in fact, he likes to drink from them) and various items. Has been exposed to Cowboy Challenge obstacles and doesn't mind any of it: streamers, car wash, bridge, tarp, etc.
-Very personable and happy. He softly knickers when you come into the barn. His ears are always forward watching people in the barn waiting for them to give him attention.
-Curious & smart so he learns quickly.
-Comes when you whistle for him.
-Hops willingly into trailer & travels well.
-Stands for farrier.
-Excellent stall manners.
-Cross ties, bathes, clips.
-Hasn't had any bad experiences.
-The rider in WTC video is about 5'4". This video also shows the pony's 2nd day of work after our long, harsh winter. (Update: Breeze is now in better physical condition and moving much more freely. He is on a regular working schedule. More video can be taken for serious inquiries.)
This guy will get you noticed in the ring. Although he seems to like kids, he may not be the best choice for a brand new rider unless there is an experienced individual willing to help. (A new rider may not take a hold of the reins and guide him.) He isn't spooky, and he doesn't take off or throw tantrums.
Call for additional information. Willing to negotiate for the RIGHT home because his future is a priority to me. He is only for sale because I have other horses that I show. I was getting Breeze ready for a niece who now lives states away. He has a ton a potential, and he deserves the time and attention. Until he is sold, I will continue to develop him.
Serious inquiries only please.
