Are you looking for the horse of your dreams? Then look no further. Raindance is a 6 year old, 15.1 hands high, Tennessee Walking Horse/Morgan cross. This horse was born on our farm, has only had 1 owner (me) and has been schooled according to natural horsemanship methods including Monty Roberts, Bill Dorrance and Buck Brannaman with three different trainers and riders- Rayna Granger, Muriel Wilson and myself. He is one of three horses that we own- his mom and dad are with us still so you can meet them too.
This horse has been under saddle and trail riding since April 2013 and is best for an intermediate rider. You will love his soft mouth, smooth transitions and the way he immediately gives to your hand. We ride him with a bitless bridle but he was started off with a snaffle bit and does great with that as well.
He is very smart, curious and willing, in great health, has no vices and has good ground manners. You will enjoy him for many years of happy trail rides, show or competition riding. Raindance is eager for a job to do and he will love you. He has a great heart. As his last trainer puts it: "He is a very good-natured horse who has only known love his whole life, so is very trusting.”
We are looking for the right person to match this very special horse. We relocate from Tennessee to Vermont this spring, so are now looking to place him in the Vermont area. Please contact me today with your questions and for an adoption application.
