Terna is a Selle Francias mare that has been used for Therapeutic Riding for the last four years prior to that she was a jumper and competing in dressage and jumping 2ft divisions , youth and adult divisions. Terna has the most beautiful movement I have ever seen in a horse. It is a natural flowing almost floating quality that is rare among horses. She is for sale due to me having four other horses and it isn't fair to her to remain just a trail horse or to be a pasture ornament when she has so much natural talent in her to become so much more. She is out of Jalisco B bloodlines and Alme which is a jumpers dream.
She has hacked out many times, jumped embankments boldly, logs and other objects aren't a problem for her. She is easily piloted around an arena by a novice rider. She has rode training level one successfully and was the highest score of the division she was in her second time out, but I do not have the time to take her farther. She has also driven a jog cart just to see if she would. She has done intermediate lessons and beginner lessons with me and is an excellent lungeline horse as well. She has been through therapeutic horse training every year and is bored with strange things, flappy things, flags and other objects most horses would be upset about. She is ranked at a one on the equine scale provided, but she will get up and go if you ask her too. She is very responsive horse and tries to do what you want her to. She has also been trail riding a bunch and enjoys it very much, great in a group , she isn't a leader but she will if she has to. She has no bad habits, good for farrier, dentist , for shots etc. She is up to date on everything.
Sells sound, vet checks welcome, never been sick a day in her life, loads, clips, bathes, leads all the things you would expect a horse to know. The only thing she doesn't like is to be straight tied really short to a post, but what horse likes to be snubbed up to anything anyway? She ties to the trailer, x ties and straight ties with at least an arms length and she doesn't care. She is not marish and can be housed in mixed company. She has never foaled . At this price she is sure to go soon as she is estimated at $15,000 but with the horse market and her not showing recently I am not going to expect something like that pricing out of her. I would like her to go to a home and would choose a home for her rather than a lesson barn home. This mare is the daughter of my beloved 2nd level mare, She has just as much talent as her dam. Her dam was imported and dam's papers are in french as well I am hoping for a new and wonderful home for this girl and I would be happy to bring her a short distance if necessary to deliver her. I could deliver her farther for a fee.
