This handsome boy is super quiet and willing to do whatever you ask of him. He was under saddle as a 4 year old then not ridden due to my inability to ride and I only shown at Halter. He is currently back under saddle for the past 60 days and doing quit well. "Rio" comes from a great line of World Champions. In 2004 he was Region 7 Champion in Youth and Amateur Geldings. 2005 Youth Halter of Merit. 2008 IEQHA (local level) 1st in High Point, WSQHA (State Level) 3rd in High Point and IDQHA (State Level) 6th in High Point. He qualified twice for the Youth World. He would be a great 4H horse for halter and showmanship. He has been driven on the ground, ridden under Western Saddle and English Saddle. He is so willing to do whatever, you could take him anywhere. I am moving out of state and I am unable to take him with me and must sell him. He has been recently taken out on trails with no spooking and seemed very relaxed. Trainer states he really likes trails.
DNA Genetic Typed, HYPP N/N, Incentive Fund, Permanent Brand Inspection Card, Current on all Vaccines, Worming and Shoes, Interstate tested and ready to travel out of state. He loads and bathes with ease. He sets up in Halter with little effort. I have never shown in showmanship but he would be a great prospect for the discipline.
