Mosaic's pedigree includes top bloodlines in both the show jumping and dressage worlds,
and she comes from a very illustrious family of performance horses. She is by
our Thoroughbred stallion Painting Freedom and out of the Hanoverian mare Mystic.
Mystic's sire, the Elite Hanoverian Stallion Mister A, was a member of the famous
Hanoverian Chestnut Quadrille in Germany, and was a successful grand prix dressage
horse. Mister A is a son of the French Anglo-Arab stallion Matcho, who, after he
was bought by the State Stud, won his performance test against Hanoverian stallions.
Mystic's dam, Wanda, was the Grand Champion Hanoverian at the 1998 Spruce Meadows
Hanoverian Mare Show at the age of eighteen. Wanda's foals include 1 who prepared
for the US Olympic dressage team, 3 who were Canadian National Dressage Champions,
and 1 who was a champion hunter. Wanda's sire, Werther, was honored as Hanoverian
stallion of the year in 1992, the first stallion to receive this recognition, and
was one of the most important sires of the modern Hanoverian breed. Mosaic is a
perfect combination of her family's kind, gentle and willing dispositions, beautiful
movement, and eye opening athleticism all packaged in a stunning chestnut and white
coat. Her pedigree, conformation and movement will make her suitable for almost
any discipline, and her color and markings will assure that she turns heads where
ever she goes! Mosaic is handled daily, leads well, is good with her feet, and loves people. Mosaic is registered with the American Warmblood Society. Mosaic has been weaned and is ready to find her new show home.
