Phenomenal little mare! Leads, loads, lunges, and works great under both English and Western tack! "Shady" is a great horse that I hate to part with, but I have another horse who needs my attention more and I can't stand the thought of her going to waste. She's not huge, only about 13.3 hh, but she's got a good build, and I haven't seen anyone on her who actually looks "too big" for her. She schools well on the flat, picks up her leads perfectly at the canter nearly every time, and has lately been jumping between 18" and 2' high. She's been trail ridden, both by herself and in a group, and does well. She's just very interested in everything going on around her, but is not spooky. She has a ton of get up and go to achieve things, but understands when to buckle down and focus on the task at hand. With more training, she can go even further, and will definitely prove herself a great all around horse. She isn't phenomenal at neck-reining, but we've been working on it and she's beginning to understand it better. I've put little kids on her, and she hasn't moved a muscle, and I had a friend get on her a week ago who only had pony rides when she was little and didn't have any problem with her. Just a great horse in general!
