Chance was born and raised on the farm. I had him trained by a local trainer who does bomb proof training, her website is I also had a trainer come and work with me and Chance using the Clinton Anderson training method. Chance has his current coggins tests, loads easily and stands good for the farrier and mounting and dismounting. He crosses streams, is good with all kinds of traffic, crosses bridges and railroad tracks.
He is pasture friendly, gets along with all the horses and will come right up to you when you call. We have been trail riding Chance and his half brother Tex for 3 years now and they have been on 2 Wagon Train rides from Delano to Dassel, MN averaging 18-20 miles per day. At night he is tyed to the trailer. We have barrels and poles set up to practice with and lots of trails surrounding our property where we walk, trot, lope and gallup the horses each time we go out.
Tex is also for sale, he was born 4/23/2007 and is 15.2 hands.
My Dad, age 89 and I are getting too old to do all the riding these young horses could use, so we are thinking of thinning out our herd.
