This gorgeous, dark bay, 7-year-old is for sale because his owner discovered she is more of a warm blood person than a thoroughbred person. He is 15.3 hands, NEVER RACED, smart, curious boy with great ground manners, quiet in his stall, great with other horses, people, cats and loves dogs. His favorite stall toy is an empty gallon milk jug. He is never lame, has great feet and does not lose shoes. Stands quiet for farrier, vet and loves the clippers. He is the first horse to greet you in the pasture. UTD on worming and shots.
He has been ridden both English and Western, so could go either way. He likes to be in front on the trail, doesn't kick or run off. He has trailered up to 3 hours without problem. We have participated in a Despooking Clinic as well as 2 Terry Myers Ride-in-Sync clinics.
He needs a home where he will have consistent work to keep his mind busy as he tends to have a little ADD. He is a beautiful mover with incredibly smooth gaits. Walk, trot, canter under saddle and goes over ground poles. We did some cross rail and short vertical work last summer.
KoMo is not for a beginner. He needs an experienced, confident rider with strong leadership abilities to give him the confidence he needs. He wants to please and enjoys being told he's a good boy.
