SIEC Livello/Polydor/Peloponnes xx/
DOB 6/15/12
This is a TOP jumper bred foal from two upper-level winning parents. Livellica is a very refined, very modern filly with exquisite conformation. She has light, easy movement with effortless, natural lead changes. Registered/branded Westfalen.
Sire is SIEC Livello (Limbus/Ahorn Z/Raimond). Livello made a big splash on the competition circuit in 2009, when at the age of 10 he had such results as 4th place at the Alltech European Championships CSIO 5* at Windsor, 1st in the Grand Prix CSI 4* at Kiel, 1st in the Super League Nations Cup in Falsterbo, 5th in the Super League Nations Cup at Rotterdam, just to name a few. He continued his winnings ways in 2010, including traveling to the U.S. to compete at the World Equestrian Games. Livello's sire Limbus is by the famous Landgraf I. Limbus jumped at international level under Bo Kristoffersen and after his sport career devoted himself full time to breeding. In that field he also made a breakthrough. Linos (Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst), Look at Me (Fabio Crotta), Louis (Charlotte Lund) and La Jolie (Karl Brocks) are some of the other internationally jumping offspring of Limbus Z.
Even more exciting than Livello's sire is his dam-line. Livello's dam-line is Holsteiner stamm 776; this stamm has been described as the " most prepotent branch of the most prepotent motherline around". Livello's dam-line has produced innumerable Grand Prix performers and approved stallions, including Acorado I and II and Calvados I and II.
The dam of this foal is the retired show-jumper Porta Westfalica. She was shown in Germany prior to being imported and has an extensive show record as a level 8 jumper, showing and winning at venues such as Spruce Meadows. Porta Westfalica's sire is the legendary Westfalen stallion Polydor. Polydor (by Pilot) was approved in 1974 and stood at the Westfalien state stud until his death in 1999. His offspring at the top of the sport are too numerous to mention them all, but they include the following:
Michael Whitaker’s Two Steps, who was good enough to be crowned WBFSH Horse of the Year 1994/95. Jan Tops had La Silla, while Bert Romp rode Burg’s Pretty Woman. Beat Mändli rode Positano to team silver at the Sydney Olympics. In 2006, Pilgrim jumped successfully with Bjorn Nagel, while Sören Pedersen enjoyed success with Polly. Pontifex jumped well with Lutz Gripshöver. The Libero H mare, Libertina, out of a Polydor mare, has been a superstar with Jessica Kürten. The black stallion, Potsdam continues to attract mares at the State Stud in Warendorf. There are very few direct Polydor daughters around today, so Porta Westfalica is a treasure indeed. Porta Westfalica's damline is also one of the most importand and influential Thoroughbred lines in all of Germany (family 5-h). This family has an excellent reputation of producing riding horses for all disciplines in a very consistent manner. The super stallion Heraldik xx has a line to this family In addition this line has produced many stallion sons used in Germany for sport horse breeding. There have also been countless FEI level horses produced by this line, including Marcus Ehning's Anka 191, L'Espoir (Ludger Beerbaum), Waldi (Aaron Vale) as well as several upper level eventers and dressage horses. Porta Westfalica's tail female line is very, very special, indeed!
This filly is currently priced at $15000, neg. to show home or a good breeding program. Current on everything, loads, leads, stands for farrier etc.
