"Sonny" is a talented '03 model Palomino QH gelding. Zippo Pine Bar/Zippo Pat Bars Bred. (http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/snack+bar+sonny) He has always been considered the goofball of the barn with his quirky attitude. This gelding gets along well with everyone and ALWAYS has to know what's going on. Very much a middle of the herd type of guy (who thinks he is higher on the totem pole). Has never bit/kicked. He is mouthy & will playfully grab or steal things like hats/coats/zippers. More likely to lick you than ever bite. Has been stood on, slid off his butt, crawled under, messed around with, & ridden bareback.

This is my 13yo sister's horse. I've been training him since he was 4yrs to get to the point where she can get on & ride him with no fear. He's at that point where I just have to school him a couple times but can feel safe with them together. This is NOT a beginner's horse or lesson horse at all. Requires an intermediate to advanced rider. He's a very calm horse, but is not confident when schooling which causes him to get nervous/anxious. He's not dangerous, but requires a rider that can understand him with soft hands & a strong seat. Sonny is currently being schooled for low level Dressage. He just started around last year & is doing very well. I feel he'd make an excellent HUS or HoF prospect. Can easily clear 3ft jumps with no problem. I've done some schooling over jumps with him, but he needs quite a bit of finishing touches (I don't have the arena or jumps to make full courses). Working on leg yields, knows how to move off the leg, W/T/C, always picks up his correct leads. AWESOME trail horse. Always the lead horse of the group. We ride him through fairly quiet neighborhoods with bike trails. He's seen a LOT. Bikes, motorcycles, semis, etc. Doesn't bat an eye. He will step up & down curbs with no problems & those scary yellow street markings don't bother him either. I rode his horse as a four year old on his first trail with a 6yo double rider. His neck reining needs some finishing touches.

UTD vet/farrier work. Please feel free to contact with any additional questions!
