This registered APHA 10 year old mare is making an amazing dressage horse! Pistol started dressage training last year...trainer says with consistent work she could be ready to show first level in no time. Great collection, extension, half halts, etc. She is a forward thinker with good work ethic and powerful with a wonderful ability to lower her haunches. She just floats across the ground, beautiful, beautiful movement and draws eyes and compliments everywhere she goes! She has good ground manners and three correct gaits. She has tons and tons of potential that is going to waste. I would love to see her go to a dressage home to reach that potential. She rides western and english and is very broke...ready for a true dressage rider! Stand out in the dressage ring with this flashy mare!! She truly has the potential to go far as a dressage horse, she just needs a rider to take her there.

Pistol pastures well with other horses or alone, and has been stalled with no problems as well. She blankets, bathes, clips, leads, ties, trailers, etc and is great for the farrier. She is a great mother and throws amazing foals regardless of what she's bred to. She is an easy keeper, no grain, just pasture or grass hay. Up to date on all health care including teeth, vaccs, coggins, worming, feet, etc and has been taken care of her whole life. I have owned her since she was 2 years old, I bought her from a friend who bred and raised her, and I know her inside and out. Love, love this mare but her true talent is dressage and I'm not doing her justice. She is 16 H. Asking only $4500! I have pulled her shoes for the winter (she does fine barefoot) as I don't ride much in the cold. I would consider negotiating if she sells before spring. She also places well in halter and hunt seat shows, has been jumped up to 2 feet, knows the poles and barrel pattern, and is an amazing working cowhorse! She really is exceptional!

Pistol will need a rider who is not a beginner or timid rider. She doesn't buck, rear, bolt, or do anything bad but she is a powerful, forward horse as a really good dressage horse should be and she needs someone who knows how to ride that type of horse. Only selling because I have too many horses to keep ridden and I mostly ride western so she's not reaching her full potential here.
