Baby is a beautiful bright bay, 5 year old, 16.2 hand quarter horse/percheron cross.
She has been under the care of a single owner since she was a weanling. She has experience on trails, in parades and drills at Civil War reenactments, including standing for gunfire and other historical activities. Baby has been trained in both english and western, however she is just starting her english arena work. She knows her basic aids - walk, trot, canter (both leads), whoa, back, and turns both from the leg and rein. She has a soft mouth and has been ridden in both a western shank as well as an simple snaffle.
Great for the farrier - wears only front shoes, but could easily go barefoot, stands tied without a fuss, stands to be bathed, hauls well in the trailer, overall an uncomplicated mare. Very sweet disposition, has never been spoiled so she has no bad habits! She has no spook, buck, rear or bolt, and is big enough for a man to ride (husband safe).
Baby is a great mover, with knee action and suspension, especially given her size! She has sport horse potential and could fit in the dressage ring, perhaps the hunter/jumper arena or just be a simple pleasure/trail horse. Baby is ready to go in whatever direction her next owner would like to take her in!!! Baby really is a diamond in the rough, get her before her training continues and her price increases.

Also available is a Wintec Pro Dressage Saddle, 17", good condition, and fits Baby! Package includes a new 28" Wintec girth, new 60" Wintec leathers, and a full size bridle. With the saddle package, Baby is priced at $2500 obo. Saddle package alone is $500. Pictures of the saddle to come!
