Bachiller is with only 6 yrs a young, imported, pure bred Lusitano gelding with an already very advanced training level.
He has a short coupled conformation with a strong, engaged rear end and remarkable freedom in his
shoulder, allowing for a big extended trot! He has great suitability for competitive dressage.
His background is based in Equitation competition and his training was focused on responsiveness,
and maneuverability. His flying changes are clean, even in sequence between poles etc.
His half passes have lots of scope and engagement from his hind legs.
For the competitive dressage arena he will need additional focus on straightness, especially through his changes.
His personality is absolutely priceless! He never spooked at anything, goes any time, anywhere, and has the exact same calm and quiet "climb on and go" disposition every single day. Remarkably, even when he has not been ridden in 2+ weeks!
His personality is delightful! He is a curious, always loving and playful character.
Questions to ask yourself when realistically considering Bachiller:
-Is he ready to show at 4th level competitively at age 6 right now? The answer is more or less NO.
-Is it more difficult to start/teach another horse all 4th level movements that Bachiller already knows well, or is a little work on straightness faster/easier to reach your goals?
-How many horses do you know with Bachiller's disposition and natural movement?
-How many other sale horses come pre-x-rayed and proven sound within 2 months included in the sale price?
-How many other horses can you find with Bachiller's training level, soundness and disposition in his price range ?
