Check out for more pics and video’s. Tux’s Comanche Moon (AKA Comanche) is a Very Stocky Built, 15.2hh, 8 yr old, Black/White Tobiano Gelding!!! He is registered Pleasure Saddle Horse and has an excellent pedigree. Comanche came to us from a 78 year old gentleman who had owned Comanche for the last 5 years. Comanche has been trail ridden many miles throughout the outskirts of a midsized, city close by and he has been camping and trail ridden in surrounding states. This gentleman suffered a massive heart attack about a year ago and had to be put into a nursing home facility. He was the only one in his family that rode horses so Comanche set idol for several months. When his daughter called and told me the situation and all about Comanche, we went to look at him the next day. In a halter riding bareback we hopped up on Comanche and even after a layoff, he was still the same old broke gentle horse that the lady had described. When we got him home and rode him, it was as if he had been ridden every day of his life. Comanche is a trail horse deluxe, he has a great mind and plenty of miles of experience! Comanche has a nice runwalk and a smooth rack and he has a very nice short lope canter. He will also flatfoot walk on a loose rein. Comanche is gentle and safe for most beginners to ride. Comanche has had 3 months of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. No matter where he goes or what he does, Comanche is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Comanche has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
