Elvira CF is big mare with modern lines and excellent movement. She is by Keur (indicates a proven producer of performance horses) stallion, Farrington, who combines the bloodlines of Wellington, Nimmerdor (KWPN Stallion of the Century, 2000) and Doruto. Dressage breeders consider Doruto blood essential for producing top level dressage horses. More information about Farrington can be found at The dam of this mare is by Hierarch, a son of the great Olympic Cocktail (Keur, KWPN Horse of the Year 1995). Heirarch himself is a proven winner in FEI level dressage and captured the Individual Silver Medal at the North American Young Riders Championships. It speaks a lot for his temperament that he was ridden so successfully by a junior rider. Elvira's grandsire on her dam’s side is Juventus, a proven winner in FEI level dressage and a proven producer of dressage horses. Elvira is quiet, very willing and smart. Her movement is elastic, balanced and beautiful. She leads and stands for foot care, fly spray, clippers and the water hose and she loves attention. She is green broke and has been ridden a lot on trails. She is solid on walk, trot and canter and ready for training. She is currently slightly over 16 hands. New video available at
