I have owned Guilder since he was 18. (However, I know his entire history and he was in my barn since he was 10.) I showed him in long stirrup and junior senior. He is an absolutely wonderful teacher and a gift for any beginner. Despite his age he is competely sound (jumps around and swaps his leads). Over the last five years I took him to clinics for dressage and cross country, as well as camping and a trip to the beach!
My job is requiring me to move and I will not be able to take him with me. I had never planned to sell him but I would rather see another person enjoy him then let him out to pasture. Plus I know he would rather keep going in the show ring and on the trails!
Earlier in his life Guilder was actually a high level dressage horse and later did the eq classes at the A's. He is extremely well trained and very balanced to ride. I think he would be happy jumping around in short or long stirrup or also for someone just looking for a fun horse to own and ride. His personality is wonderful and he is an absolute barn favorite.
A good home is an absolute must!
