This is a Walking horse that any knowledgeable horse person will fall in love with. You will have to convince me that you will take the best of care of him and use him. He loves to be handled and riden. I am 74 and experiencing some limiting health problems. That is why he is for sale.

Siko is a fantastic mount for trails - responsive, willing, with a big motor - sure footed and can comfortably handle the trail terrain all day every day keeping you happy in the saddle. He is good to trailer and has no vices. He is healthy and up to date with vacinations and deworming. He is barefoot (unless you are traveling on rocky terrain); I have taken care of his feet myself, rasping and rounding regularly which I can no longer do.
This boy does it all softly and willingly - walks, flat walks, runwalks, canters, neck reins, side pass, backs, stops, does most of that on verbal command. He stands tied quietly - good around other horses and dogs.
Price includes the tack he is comfortable with - Tennessean type saddle, Imus bit, blankets pads and bridleI. He has nice withers making it easy to tack up without over tightening the girth.

The day I made the video it was March 30, 2013 and because of my health problems he had not been riden or worked with since the end of June 2012. It was a windy, cool, threatining to rain day with green grass showing. Not ideal to show off a horse but he did good considering 8 or 9 months with no handling on windy cold day. (May 1st.) I ride Koko (Nickname) bareback often, If you are a bareback rider you will love him. what a pleasure! I am riding him regularly inspite of medical advice not to continue riding. He is tuned up and ready to go. Koko is extremely smart. and learns fast.
