Jay is a coming five year old morgan gelding. He is well trained on the ground and was started under saddle, however, the vets believe he has an old hind end injury, which causes him to be unsound when carrying a riders weight. Unfortunately, he is offered as a companion horse only.
His mother, Vicki, is 23 and also available as a companion horse. She used to be ridden, and may be suitable for some light trail riding, although we haven't ridden her in the 7 years we've owned her, so I am not sure if her back would bother her (due to age). She is a very gentle mare, well behaved, and can be groomed and handled by young children.
Both horses are in good health and are free to a suitable home. They are attached, and would love to go together, however they need homes ASAP so they can go separately as well. They will come with winter blankets.
