Deuce is a lovely sorrel overo mare with a great personality. She has had over three years of professional training and countless lessons under Devin Warren, Shane Brown, Ryan Anderson, Lance Shockley, and Terry Wegener.
Deuce executes beautiful effortless lead changes and can plus her stops and roll backs. She can zero her turn arounds and is quiet, calm and consistent in the circles. With her quiet disposition she would make a great babysitter for a youth, first time rookie or nervous rider.
Deuce was shown at both the NRHA show and APHA World show by a professional and her owner. She has been shown by a rookie in NRHA reining shows and won the WSRHA third place year end awards in club classes( Rookie, Limited Open).
Not just another pretty face, she is easy to train and versatile. Deuce has won numerous Year End Awards and blue ribbons in 4-H and open horse shows with a novice rider. She was also Novice Horse Saddle series champion in western ( trail, horsemanship,western pleasure and showmanship), Champion and Reserve Champion Halter mare in many open horse shows. She is also a APHA PAC point earner.
Deuce also enjoys trail riding. She is quiet and patient as her rider opens gates, crosses bridges, water, mud, logs, and tarps. She is super easy going and not spooky and she's great around cows. Sweet personality not "mare-ish", sound, healthy, excellent ground manners, stands for the farrier, bathes, clips, ties, and trailer loads.
