Duke is a gorgeous, great moving, and well schooled horse with experience in the hunter/ jumper ring as well as out on trails. He has 3 lovely gaits, with a rhythmic and balanced canter. Very comfortable to ride. He is totally honest and brave to the fences, and jumps in good form. Also potential for dressage and eventing as he is soft in the bridle, big movement, and jumps anything. He has had some time off (NOT due to any health or soundness issues) and is getting back into shape nicely, but still needs some tuning up. Needs work on his lead changes before he will be ready to go back into the show ring. Very scopey at the jumps, big step, and a fancy trot. Good on the trails. Not spooky, no buck or rear, good manners, and sound. Bargain priced currently since he is still getting back into shape. Light cribber, easily controlled with a strap when in a stall, and does not crib at all when turned out (does not need a strap turned out).
