Ella is a 6 year old, 13.1 hand, green pony with a great mind. She is calm, safe, smart and tries to please. She has just learned her flying leads and has been to two shows this year. This video shows her latest schooling session at Twisted Oak Farm as well as her first horse show in May 2012 (also her first time off the farm). Ella's is very suitable for a new/beginner riders. She is not sour and wants to take care of her ridders. She is very soft in the mouth and moves forward when leg pressure is applied lightly. She doesn't not require whips, spurs, or other aids at all. She wants to go slow and prefers a relaxed pace. She makes the medium pony strides with ease making her hunter courses look elegant and flawless. She is the perfect pony for young beginner riders wanting to learn and will be a great start for special, short stirrup, or other beginner divisions.
