Offered for sale is Little Johnny Ryon. He is a 18 year old gelding and is a finished barrel horse that will place you in the $$. He has never had any kind of leg or joint issues. about 15 hands. Very sound. No vices what-so-ever. He is registered, and pedigree can be seen on All Breed Pedigree.


At the Mule Days Rodeo 4-D open barrel race he placed 2nd in the 2-D with only 6 horses ahead of him with over 80 entries from all over NC, VA and SC. This was the first time I ever rode him in competition. He later won a show at Triplecreek Farm in Benson in the EZ Run Pro Barrel Racing association. This guy has been there and done it all. He rodeo-ed down in southern LA and TX before moving to Raleigh. [Previous owner was injured in a car accident and had to sell].

He is not for the beginner and will need an experienced rider with the confidence to ride him. This does not mean he acts crazy, just needs a firm hand on the pattern as he really likes to RUN! He is a sweetheart on the ground. We do have an arena if you want to give him a test ride.
