we knew louie was special as we watched him play as a baby. he is so cute, and according to lanny leach, benbrook, tx, his trainer, he is going to be a nice one. he liked his moves for either cutting or reined cowhorse. this young gelding has been ridden about 25 rides and is going really well. his personality can't be beat and you don't have to chase him around the pasture to catch him. he just likes to be with you. lanny thought he was a real joy to start because he was eager to learn every day and retained what he learned the day before.
louie's sire is little lewis long legs, a high brow cat son and a finalist in the 2004 ncha open futurity and had $43,078 in ncha earnings. he was the 2005 wyoming open derby champion and a finalist in the 2005 west texas open derby and a semi-finalist in the 2005 ncha open super stakes. lil lewis long legs' dam, lil lucy long legs was an ncha open futurity finalist and earned $160,592 ncha. louie's dam miss ninaulena, a tamulena/doc tari daughter pairing, was a trained cutter and is a stout, gentle mare that has produced two nice colts for us.
